Coat Colour

Blue

Blue Australian Labradoodles are a dark to medium, almost smoky blue. Blue Australian Labradoodles are born with a black coat, but have blue or grey skin pigment which suggests their true blue colour will develop over time; usually one to three years. The ‘finished’ coat should be even in colour across the body. This is a particularly rare colour group, and the nose pigmentation should match that of the skin, either blue or grey.

Availability

The closest thing we had to a blue Australian Labradoodles was Jet, who is a blue parti, i.e. blue with white (two tone). He had the capacity to produce solid blue puppies if bred to a girl with the correct genetic colour makeup, but this would be a very rare occurrence. (Jet has now retired.).
